True Movement Style Guide
This simple kit is for using the True Movement logo in conjunction with our trademark guidelines.

Logo

This is our primary logo. Note the horizontal lockup. There is no vertical version of our logo at present.
Clearspace

Our logo should always have a clearspace surrounding it equal to the width and height of the letter M in Movement.

Please do not place anything over top of the logo or in this red zone.
Colour

This is our primary logo for white or light backgrounds.

This is our primary logo for black or dark backgrounds.

Printing one colour? Use our black logo.

On darker backgrounds, user our white logo.
Small usage

This is our logo for smaller spaces. If you need to reduce the main logo to fit a small space and the tagline text becomes illegible, please use this logo.

Circle logo

This is our circle logo for use exclusively by licensed True Movement studios. This logo is restricted to use as a secondary "profile" image logo on social media to distinguish your studio location from others. This logo will be supplied to you if you are a licensed True Movement studio owner and will be customized to your location. If you are not a licensed studio owner please do not use this logo.
Logo Don'ts
- Do not separate the logo graphic is anyway to use individual parts of the logo, or rearrange the placement of the shapes or text in the logo.
- Do not place text or images over top of the logo or any part of it.
- Do not use the logo in any other colours than specified above.
- Please do not create a logo version with a greyscale fill otherwise alternate fill, including gradients and patterns.
- Do not place the logo over strong gradients, patterns, or any other logo or graphic or part thereof.
- Do not place our logo over visually busy areas of a photograph that obscure the prominence of the logo.
True Movement Trademark Guidelines
True Movement’s Trademark Guidelines (the “Guidelines”) have been created to help our partners, licensees, and other authorized third parties (collectively, “You”) understand how to use True Movement’s brand assets correctly, including True Movement logos, trademarks, service marks, and any other word, name, phrase, image, or other designation that identifies the source or origin of any of True Movement’s products or services (“True Movement Brand Assets”). You are permitted to use the True Movement Brand Assets only in accordance with these Guidelines and the True Movement Style Guide above. Any use of the True Movement Brand Assets contrary to the Guidelines or Style Guide is prohibited. True Movement reserves the right to revise or update the Guidelines and Style Guide at any time in its sole discretion.
The True Movement Brand Assets are valuable True Movement intellectual property. By using or making reference to any True Movement Brand Asset, you agree to comply with the Guidelines and the True Movement User Terms of Service. You also acknowledge that True Movement is the sole owner of the True Movement Brand Assets, agree not to challenge or interfere with True Movement’s rights in its Brand Assets, and agree that all goodwill derived from use of the True Movement Brand Assets inures only to the benefit of True Movement. We may review use of our Brand Assets at any time, and we reserve the right to terminate or modify any permissions granted by True Movement.
True Movement Brand Assets
For purposes of clarification, the True Movement Brand Assets include both registered and unregistered trademarks and service marks of True Movement, including the True Movement word mark, the True Movement horizontal logo, the True Movement circle logo comprised of a colour circle background, the word “true” in the middle with studio location text below used in connection with the True Movement word mark, and other True Movement slogans and taglines. True Movement, the True Movement logo, and combinations thereof are trademarks of True Movement, Inc. and may be registered in the Canada and/or other jurisdictions.
HOW TO USE (AND HOW NOT TO USE) True Movement BRAND ASSETS
You may only use the True Movement Brand Assets in the most current form provided by True Movement in the True Movement Style Guide above and in accordance with these Guidelines, including the do’s and don’t’s outlined below:
Do not use the True Movement Brand Assets as part of any of your own trademarks, logos, company names, icons, product or feature names, domain names, social media handles, or avatars. For example, do not physically combine or intermingle any True Movement Brand Assets with your own trademarks or logo; they must remain separate.
Do not modify the True Movement Brand Assets in any way, including by changing any colours or dimensions, obstructing or printing over any part of the asset, or adding your own design elements.
When you are designing your own website and marketing materials, do not imitate the distinctive look and feel of any of True Movement’s website, apps, logos, trade dress, slogans, taglines, colour scheme, icons, or marketing materials. Also, do not register or use a domain name that incorporates “True Movement” or any confusingly similar term in the domain name itself.
Do not use any True Movement Brand Asset in a damaging or derogatory way, or in connection with any social media or website that violates any law or True Movement’s User Terms of Service.
Trademarks are adjectives; be careful when using any True Movement trademark in text. Refrain from using any True Movement trademark as a noun or verb, or in a plural or possessive form. For example, you can use the True Movement trademark as an adjective followed by the appropriate noun identifying the relevant product or service (e.g., “The True Movement® conditioning program”).
When you reference True Movement, your reference must clearly and accurately indicate your relationship to True Movement.
Do not use the True Movement Brand Assets in a way that suggests or implies sponsorship or endorsement by True Movement, or any affiliation with True Movement, including but not limited to making the True Movement Brand Assets larger or more prominently placed than your own house brand or trademark.
