True Movement® is an integral part of a hockey players training program.

Our main focus is to stabilize, mobilize, and build strength without compression. Implementing True Movement® in season will allow the player to maintain strength, and to help offset the compression that games and other trainings can play a part in. Resetting movement patterns, post game recovery, pre game activation, as well as rehabilitation exercises, are all components that encompass the True Movement Method®.

Building lower body strength and explosiveness without compression, and combining both stabilization and mobilization, directly correlate to how players perform. Utilizing these concepts and applying it to weight shifting movements, is ultimately how players build strength.

Realigning the body into its most optimal shock absorption position. Stabilizing muscles and joints, and identifying and activating the deep core muscles to create a strong foundation.

By creating space in the body, we can increase the range of motion without sacrificing stabilization. Rolling through the joints, moving through multiple planes, shifting off centre, and developing neuromuscular patterns to increase efficiency.
