GYROKINESIS®, sometimes referred to as ‘yoga in motion,’ allows one to work on the entire body through 7 natural elements of spinal movement: forward, backward, left side, right side, left twist, right twist, and circular, as well as other joint articulation. It works the entire body without equipment by stimulating internal organs through fluid and gentle manipulation of multiple joints.
Fluidity is key. Postures are not held for long periods of time, they are smoothly and harmoniously connected through breath, making exercises feel more like a dance and swimming as opposed to traditional yoga. Those who practice GYROKINESIS® tend to be more relaxed in their daily lives and can move with increased flexibility and ease.
Our GYROKINESIS® classes are taught in groups of up to 6 people.
